“How Open Dialogue Impacted My Health Journey” with Zac, a patient

Zac has had many experiences in the healthcare system throughout his life. During the episode, he shares some good experiences and also some of the bad experiences. Zac talks about why some of these experiences didn’t go well for him and how he felt misunderstood. He also talks about what makes him feel heard and how open dialogue really impacted his health concerns and allowed him to better understand his health journey.

Zac really emphasizes what this podcast is all about when he says, “you never know if telling my story can help someone else...these ‘taboo’ topics are always the most misunderstood and would benefit the most from talking about”.

It was really great having Zac on the podcast. He was honest and open about his experiences as a patient in the healthcare system, and his story really shows what it is like to be a patient in the unknown world of healthcare.

Zac is also the cohost of his own podcast ‘Matt Makes Zac Watch Horror Movies’. Check them out if you’re interested!
